2. What data we collect

When you subscribe to the Built by Chemistry newsletter, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name. We do not collect payment data or any special category personal data.

3. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6.1)

We process your data on the basis of explicit consent (Art. 6.1(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any edition.

4. Purpose and retention

We use your email address solely to send the Built by Chemistry newsletter. We retain your data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted within 30 days.

5. Processors

Namecheap (hosting), Brevo SAS (email sending — EU servers), MailPoet (subscriber management), Google Analytics (only if accepted via cookie banner), Cloudflare (CDN). No data is sold or shared for marketing purposes.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and Spain’s LOPDGDD you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your data. Email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the AEPD.

7. Changes

Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
